The primary objective at G.P.F. Tree Services is to provide reliable and dependable services in the areas of tree trimming, pruning & removal as well as ground clearing. Here at G.P.F. Tree Services we employ qualified staff with the appropriate experience and training to perform their work in a safe, professional and efficient manner. All of our employees promote safety. Our Project Foreman has been with our company since 2001 and is a graduate of UNB, Bachelor of Science in Forestry. We employ qualified Utility Arborists to operate our fleet of 7 bucket trucks. We have a full time safety officer with 20 years experience that is fully trained and accredited through the Nova Scotia Construction Association. G.P.F.'s core personnel have been with us for 20-30 years.
At G.P.F. Tree Services we have a strict environmental policy that is adhered to by all employees. Our company has an extensive safety program that has been developed over the past 30 years. We have been in receipt of a Letter of Good Standing-Certificate of Recognition since October of 1994. The quality of our work can be reflected in the long term close relationships that we have developed with local Nova Scotia Power, Bell and the towns & Municipalities. Our storm response work and our commitment to restoration of power have been recognized by local utilities and municipalities.

This storm became the most damaging winter storm in NB Power's history. Workers from across the province were challenged with hundreds of fallen poles, as well as a number of trees leaning on infrastructure and property. Reconnecting our customers back on the grid rapidly and safely was the number one priority during these numerous long cold days.
